We support CASL, and have done our homework to ensure that we comply with its regulations as they relate to us. As a charity, the type of communications that we send out via email are not affected by the legislation.

Please also remember that every email that we send has a prominent, one-click ‘Unsubscribe’ option that you may use if you do not wish to continue receiving communication from us. No offence taken!

Contact Information

When you sign up for our Newsletter or register to volunteer, we collect basic contact information like your full name, email and mailing address. Rest assured that we will never sell or distribute this or any other personal information. All of your information will remain strictly private and confidential. You will also have the option of unsubscribing from our anonymous internal mailing lists at any time.

Donating

All online donations are handled through PayPal, the world’s most trusted service for online money transactions. Any banking information you submit is processed on their secure servers and is handled through PayPal; NCEP, nor anyone else, will ever see or be able to access your payment information.

All cheque donations are handled by our small and trustworthy financial team. For our records, the team records your name and address along with the date and amount, and then promptly deposits the cheque. No financial information (such as account, transit or institution number) is recorded or saved.

Communications with donors and outside parties

At times, NCEP may wish to communicate with donors and other non-NCEP groups via email or postal mail, usually to a) let you know about an up-coming NCEP event; b) thank you for attending a recent event; or c) to keep you apprised, via our Quarterly Newsletter, of the various ways our donors and volunteers are helping making education a reality for children in Nepal. Here is our commitment to you:

1) When emailing you, NCEP will keep your contact information private and invisible to any other recipients who may be included in the mailing list for that email.

2) NCEP will never hassle you with frequent requests for money. Whether you decide to make ongoing donations or not to NCEP is your choice, and we respect that.

3) NCEP is committed to making it easy for you to manage your communications with us. If at any time, for any reason, you wish to be removed from a distribution list or from our records completely, you can always unsubscribe quickly and easily.
