Areas of Operation

NCEP works directly on the ground in Nepal. Our Nepali Team is comprised of local volunteers headed by our co-founder and Nepali native, Raju Tuladhar. These dedicated members of our Nepali Team are out on the streets at least once a month, checking on classrooms, talking to teachers and visiting homes to ensure each and every student we sponsor is getting the full support they need.

NCEP's work is currently focused on helping poor and orphaned children in the heart of Nepal's capital city – Kathmandu - in the district of Lalitpur. By concentrating our efforts on one area, NCEP hopes to have a spill-over effect into the community. By helping a child we help a family. By helping a group of children, we help a group of families. The net impact becomes larger than the sum of its parts. Rather than helping several children in isolation, we focus on an area and help lift a whole community.
